Legacy & Horsepower

BUILT, NOT BOUGHT.

Nick Schneider isn’t a celebrity driver; he’s a dedicated working man. By day, he drives a semi-truck for a family-owned business in Roscoe, IL. On weekends during racing season, he transforms into "The Wild Child," a second-generation racer who continues a 40-year family legacy in short-track racing.

As he enters his 16th season, Nick’s career is defined by resilience. After a heart condition (WPW) prevented him from serving in the National Guard before it began, he redirected his focus to racing. He quickly built a reputation for winning in any vehicle he drove, including a borrowed car he discovered on Facebook, which led him to a significant victory at Bahama Brackets.

In 2025, Nick faced a challenging season that would have deterred most. A freak accident crushed his foot, shattering three toes and sidelining him for several months. However, Nick refused to give up. He rebuilt himself physically and mentally, studied the sport, and returned to the Dells, where he finished in 2nd place against seasoned track champions.

Now, as he heads into the 2026 season, Nick is starting his sophomore year in the NASCAR 602 Outlaw Late Model division. He is racing a car that he built from the ground up, beginning with a bare chassis gifted to him by Hall of Famer Ricky Bilderback.
