Legacy & Horsepower

BUILT, NOT BOUGHT.

Nick Schneider isn't a celebrity driver; he’s a working man. By day, he drives a semi-truck for a family-owned business in Roscoe, IL. And on weekends during racing season, he is 'The Wild Child,' a second-generation racer carrying on a 30-year family Legacy in the short-track world.

Entering his 16th season, Nick’s career is defined by resilience. After a heart condition (WPW) ended his National Guard service before it began, Nick turned his focus to the track. He built a reputation for winning in anything he drove—including a borrowed car he found on Facebook that led to a massive Bahama Brackets victory.

In 2025, Nick faced a season that would have broken most. A freak accident resulted in his foot being crushed, shattering three toes and sidelining him for months. But Nick didn't quit. He rebuilt, studied, and returned to the Dells to finish 2nd against track champions.

Now going into the 2026 season, he begins his sophomore year in the NASCAR 602 Outlaw Late Model division in a car he built from the ground up—starting with a bare chassis gifted by Hall of Famer Ricky Bilderback.
